At Van Ierssel Houtimport, we select our outdoor wood species based on their natural resistance to fungi, insects, and wood rot. We focus on wood species with Durability class 1 and 2, guaranteeing a long service life, even without chemical treatments.
A deck must not only be beautiful, but also dimensionally stable and safe. We supply a wide range of hardwood and thermally modified wood that exhibits minimal movement and cracking.
For residential and non-residential buildings, safety is priority number one. Galleries are subject to heavy foot traffic and must remain non-slip in all weather conditions.
For the furniture industry, we supply wood that is easy to work with, yet resistant to the vagaries of nature.
“Outdoor woodworking is a top-level sport. We supply the athletes who always beat the elements.”
